How to cure dry skin

Itching, cracked skin, rashes are common symptoms of dry skin. Weather is one of main reason for dry skin. Our skin gets dry in winter months generally and also in drier climate. Use of harsh soaps, exposure to sun, are other reasons. We require special care in certain conditions. We should keep our body hydrated. Here are some home remedies for dry skin problem. Try these at home.


1: Add 2 cup oatmeal powder and one cup baking powder soda to a tub full of lukewarm water. Soak for fifteen minutes to sooth dry skin.
2: Mix one egg yolk with 1 teaspoon of orange juice, 1 teaspoon of olive oil, a few drops of rose water and a few drops of lime juice.Apply the mixture to your face every morning for 15 minutes before you take bath.





3: Apply a pulp of fresh cherries to the face and neck for about 20 minutes. Then wash off the mask from your face with slight warm milk or spring water.


4: Apply sweet almond oil to your face after applying the tea tree oil to prevent excessive dry skin and great smooth results.



5: Aloe-vera gel directly taken from crushed leaves can be applied on face and body. leave it for few minutes and then wash off with normal water.



6: Mix 2 teaspoons of honey and few drops of olive oil, and apply it on face for 20 minutes and then rinse it off with normal water.

7: Castor oil reduces stretch marks, sunburn, acne and dry skin.  Apply a thick layer of castor oil all over body before taking bath. Leave it for 20 minutes and then wash off with water. You can apply coconut oil and almond oil in the same way.

Use glycerine soaps instead of harsh soaps. Glycerine soaps are mild and have moisturising qualities.
Consume plenty of water and stay hydrated. Get good and sound sleep. Include fruits and vegetables in daily diet.

Avoid excessive sugar intake. Do not soak up too much in sun. do not stress out and do not smoke.
